Applied Neuropsycholgy with deaf adults and children, developing dementia assessment battery for BSL users, schizophrenia and voice hallucinations in deaf individuals, synaesthesia, specific language impairment (SLI) in deaf BSL users, developmental disorders and deafness, the consequences of stroke and head injuries for BSL users (aphasia, apraxia, visuospatial neglect etc), Motor disorders (Parkinson's disease, Motor Neurone disease, Cerebellar ataxia), development and translation of standardised assessments for BSL users, older adult neuropsychology and mental health.

Assessment and therapeutic intervention for children and young people (up to 18) with mental health, emotional, behavioural and/or developmental difficulties. Family and parenting work. Theory of mind, emotional literacy, community psychology, bilingualism. Currently only referrals through NHS service. Will support training placements / research projects for interested Trainee Clinical Psychologists. Teach on variety of courses and provide training to range of professionals/user groups.
